Understanding Your Results
Download Speed — How fast data can be pulled from the server to your device. Higher is better. 25+ Mbps is good for most work, 100+ Mbps is ideal for MSP environments.
Upload Speed — How fast data can be sent from your device to the server. Important for video calls, file sharing, and cloud backups. 10+ Mbps is good for most use cases.
Latency (Ping) — The round-trip time for data to travel to the server and back. Lower is better. Under 50ms is good, under 20ms is excellent.
Jitter — The variation in latency over time. Lower is better. High jitter causes choppy video calls and unreliable VoIP. Under 5ms is ideal.
